WHERE INNOVATIONS TAKE FLIGHT
The ever-challenging aerospace industry had always been enticing to innovators and the technology-driven minds of the 21st century. In an effort to bridge the gap between the young hobbyists/aeromodellers and the aerospace industry, Glorod Avionics Pvt. Ltd. (GAPL) was established in 2010, to design, develop and manufacture R/C Scale Model Aircrafts, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and other Unmanned Vehicles (UVs).
GAPL’s remotely operated aircraft are meant for hobbyists, educational institutions, and organizations involved with research and development. Some of our major clients are NIAT (Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology) Southern Naval Command Kochi, NCC(National Cadet Corps) Air Units, CSIR(Council for Scientific & Industrial Research) for their research and development work & Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST, Thiruvananthapuram) for their supply for drone-related research/experiments.
